Site operator good practice – Delivery Management Systems One of the discussions at the recent working group meeting included the use of Delivery Management Systems (DMS) as the primary interface between site operators and fleet operations and perhaps the opportunity to inform vehicle driver checks by traffic marshals. DMS can be used to: - Discharge planning conditions
- Meet client requirements within bid/tender documents
- Provide control over what is coming to site and when
- Manage risk in respect of accidents/incidents
Table discussions identified broad support of such systems of which there are number of different versions currently used by CLOCS Champions: - Datascope
- ADBM - Alandale Logistics
- iCL:ik - Clipfine
- Juggler - Laing O’Rourke
- Delivery Management System - Munnelly Logistics
- Fulcrum - Wilson James
